Kashif e mustub is taught by Hakim Sahib on periodical basis and below incident is taken from one of this dars.

Today we are going to read a lesson which has been taught by Ali Hajvery رحمتہ اللہ علیہ  in the book Kash mustub the gist of which is “the wardrobe of any fakir is not material thing instead it is based on the Allah directions. The dress which a fakir wears is not a matter of concern his submission to Allah is the main objective. When the Allah directions are clear to the fakir then whatever dress he wears becomes the fakery dress.

The true spirit is love of His messenger  ﷺ then the dress worn by the fakir in whatever form it is will become fakery dress. There were many companions who used to wear expensive dress and they didn’t wear down trodden dress ever in their lives. Shah Abdul Qadir Jillani رحمتہ اللہ علیہ  changed his dress daily. Kh harara was a rich person. Fakery is not concerned with dress it is in the person and whatever his dress that becomes immaterial. Remember that fakir dress is not specified. It is in fact in the heart. Fakery dress is the dress of hazart Muhammad ﷺ.

Pir Ali Hajervery رحمتہ اللہ علیہ    narrates that the true essence lies in this fact that we should be attached with the Allah and his messenger message fully and for that purpose what we do or wear becomes immaterial. He narrates that face or dress is not a matter of concern the dress of fakir is material. One person said that person is very learned and it is not with age it is Allah will that he bestows the Allah directions. Sukawat is in the heart not with material things. There are many fakirs who are not rich but rich at heart and many rich who are not rich at heart.
